The University of Taiwan Writing Center runs the Three-minute English Language Brief Competition in 112.

To enhance the domestic culture and develop the skills of graduate students in cross-regional communication, the University of Taiwan's Writing Education Centre runs the Three-minute English Language Introduction Competition for 112, which is a collaborative effort to promote the culture of domestic learning and foster cross-regional communication. At the same time, you are invited to participate in competitions and finals for graduate students.

The Three Minute English Language Brief competition, which started at the University of Queensland, is an international research briefing competition that has been held in more than 85 countries worldwide, and 900 higher education institutions (such as Cambridge University, New York University, Hong Kong University, etc.). In 2015, the TLC was first authorized to run a 3MT competition, and in the third, in collaboration with the National University of Taiwan Teachers and University of Technology, it promoted academic exchange, stimulated the participation of contestants in the stage, and demonstrated the ability of organizations and speakers of excellence. The competition has now been promoted to higher education institutions, and the winners of the competition will be awarded a prize and will have the opportunity to stand on the international stage and celebrate the school.

The competition is not only in line with the objectives of the Ministry of Education's Deep-In-ternational Farming Programme, "Building Student Foundations" and "Building a Cross-border Learning Environment", but also offers students an excellent opportunity to engage in international and strengthened competition. The last year, the sixth 3MT, which came from nine countries, attended 10 universities in the North, Central and South, covering 14 academic fields, including literature, science, industry, agriculture, information, biomedicine, etc., and 152 graduate students. This year, with the support of the Grand EMI Educational Resource Centre, students from all universities and colleges have been invited to share their research findings in a more shallow way, hoping to stimulate new ideas in the process of communication and learning.

To effectively enhance the academic expression of the contestants, the Pre-Selection Lecture will be held at the Centre for Teaching and Learning in Capital Writing, a great opportunity to sharpen and polish the sword in the hands of the students and welcome the signing of the ceremony.
