The recruitment of study companions for international students for the fall class of 2016 (105-1) has begun!
In the last semester of 105 Academic Year (105-1), our school will have international students from Germany, the Netherlands, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, Japan, Malaysia and other countries (increasing gradually) as well as Hong Kong, Macau and mainland China. In order to help international students who have traveled across the ocean to study in Taiwan quickly integrate into Taiwanese life and campus environment, we need your enthusiastic assistance. We sincerely welcome students to join the ranks of study companions. We hope that everyone can take this opportunity to make friends with different cultural backgrounds.
Having such a great opportunity to keep company with international students not only promotes cultural exchanges, but also expands your horizons. What are you waiting for?
Study companion assistance content:
- Make connections during the summer vacation
- Assist international students to register and receive them at school
- Assist in check-in and settling in (buying mattresses, daily necessities, etc.)
- Help international students understand the environment and teach them about life in Taiwan and campus matters
- Assistance with course selection
- Learn from and help each other in daily life during school period
Conditions:
- Enthusiastic, positive and responsible
- Will receive emails from time to time
- Able to try independent thinking and problem-solving skills
- Able to coordinate with new students’ registration time
* Students who want to be study companions, please be sure to donate your time September 3 to September 6, 105The period will be freed to facilitate reception.
* Students who sign up as study companions must participate in the study companion training course. Regardless of whether you have been a study companion in the past, please participate in the training. The information will change every semester, so be sure to participate!
* Study buddy quotas will be given first to students who participate in the study buddy training course!
Training courses:
1. June 4, 2020 (Saturday, make-up work day) at 10:30 in the morning at DH 123, Humanities Science Building 1
2. June 15, 2020 (Wednesday) at 10:50 am at the International Garden (the venue is small, please choose the first session first)
