Applications are open for the 2011 "National Yunlin University of Science and Technology Student Overseas Exchange or Further Study Subsidy"

1. National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (hereinafter referred to as the school) has formulated these key points in order to expand students’ international horizons, promote educational and cultural exchanges, and encourage students of the school to go abroad for further study and exchange.
2. Acceptance in this (111) year:
(1) Short-term exchanges or attendance at international conferences: at least 3 days during study abroad.
(2) Short-term research (study abroad): at least 2 months during study abroad.
(3) Exchange abroad or study in an overseas dual-study program: study abroad for at least one semester.
3. Subsidy objects: Regular students (excluding students from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao) who have official student status in the school and who will leave or return to China before December 10 of this year (in order to comply with the time limit for the write-off of school funds).
4. Application deadline:Until 17:00 pm on 2022/10/28 (Friday), send the application documents to the International Garden (opposite the school meal).This case adopts an on-site review method. When the annual subsidy funds are exhausted, the application will be closed early and applications will no longer be accepted.
5. Application procedures:
(1) Those who apply for subsidies from the Office of International Affairs must prepare the following documents and submit them to their department for preliminary review and approval, and then transfer them to the Office of International Affairs for review at the International Affairs Review Group meeting of the school:
1. Application form (If the meeting or course is changed to an online/remote meeting due to the epidemic, please provide the agenda or relevant certificates when applying.)。
2. A copy of Chinese transcripts for previous years.
3. Those who apply for "Short-term Research (Standing Station)" must additionally submit the following information:
(1) Research or communication plan.
(2) A copy of the consent document or relevant certificate from the research or respondent unit. (Those who conduct fieldwork must have a research plan that has actually been carried out or a certificate from the partner who agrees to conduct it.)
(2) Those who apply for subsidies from the department or college must comply with the application regulations, review procedures and subsidy disbursement methods of the department. However, the department should submit the subsidy case to the International Affairs Office for reference.
6. Subsidy standards:
(1) The amount of subsidy awarded to each student shall be determined based on comprehensive consideration of factors such as the current year's budget, past performance, past performance class placement ratio, location of study abroad, duration, number of applications for each college, study plan, etc. When funds are limited, subsidies will be awarded to the best with reference to previous years' results.
1. Application for short-term exchange or attendance at international conferences: The review is based on effectiveness and number of days. Each person will be subsidized up to NT$30,000.
2. Apply for short-term research (staycation):
(1) Those who study abroad for more than 3 months will receive a subsidy of up to NT$100,000 per person.
(2) If the period of study is not three months, up to 60,000 new yuan is provided each.
(ii) The grant includes the cost of air tickets, living expenses, materials, registration fees, school fees and school fees, administrative fees or insurance costs, which are certified and are subject to the requirements for payment of foreign travel expenses.
(iii) The recipient shall leave the country for the approved year, after which time the grant shall be deemed abandoned and the grant cancelled.
(iv) The cancellation of the subsidy by the recipient of the grant for failure to complete the fee settlement in the year of approval of the grant, based on the annual fee certification regulation.
(v) The application is subject to the relevant requirements of the requirement, but is not supported by the provision of assistance when the annual fee is insufficient.
VII. Supplementary distribution:
(i) Those who apply for the first of the first (short-term communication or attendance at international conferences) and second (short-term research (crowding)) clauses of the second point,
The results of the written study and digital files are submitted to the relevant institutions within one month of their return, and the following documents are made available to them for approval in accordance with the rules of the school's master's office.
1. A visa to sign abroad (with the sending of students to assist students in signing and selling them well before leaving the country).
2. Student leave application form (the applicant must complete the leave procedure prescribed for the school before leaving the country).
3. Reporting forms on student travel abroad.
4. Electronic tickets.
5. A copy of the official boarding certificate or passport from or to the country in which it is stamped.
6. Certification of ticket purchase or transfer of receipt from travel agents.
7. The school approves a grant notice (with a copy of the relevant approval signature if the change plan is made).
8. Report on the results of the study abroad (subject to the approval of the professor).
9. The second point, subparagraph 1, paragraph 2, is to be accompanied by a dissertation or a summary of the research report.
10. If you cannot get on a national airline, you must fill the "Application for a foreign national airline for official service".
11. Other certificates of certification required for the purpose of certification include tickets, living expenses, materials, registration fees, school fees and credits, administrative fees or receipts for insurance.

* Short-term exchanges or international conference participants who change their plans to implement the new coronary pneumonia epidemic will be awarded a grant to fund the award.
(ii) A person who requests the first paragraph of point 2 (offer of a foreign country for a dual-council system) to:
1. The following documents shall be submitted by the recipient to the International Affairs Office for processing the costs of the operation no later than two weeks before the departure:
(1) Electronic tickets.
(2) A ticket purchase certificate or a forwarding receipt from a travel agency.
(3) Passports.
(4) A photocopy of the visa.
(5) The school's notice of approval of the grant (with a copy of the relevant approval signature if the change is made).
2. The notice of arrival in a foreign country is due within two weeks of departure (sent sister international services to post the certificate back).
Within one month of the return of the person to his or her country, the following documents shall be prepared for delivery to the International Affairs Office:
(1) Electronic tickets.
(2) A copy of the official boarding certificate or passport that is stamped in or out of the country.
(3) A copy of the results of the studies in foreign schools.
(4) Report on the results of the study abroad (subject to the approval of the professor).

8. The same research programme abroad or a grant request is made by a person who is at the same time receiving financial support from a unit within or outside the school, and who is aware of the agreement of the unit to receive co-operation in the same case and to comply with its rules.
