105th Dr. Lin Youxin Memorial Scholarship (for students with Aboriginal status) (until 9/10)

The following information is excerpted from the communication. If there is any change, the latest official announcement shall prevail.
1. Apply according to the "Application Procedure for the 105th Dr. Lin Youxin Memorial Scholarship".
2. Application conditions:
(1) Students with aboriginal identity who are currently studying in bachelor's classes or graduate schools in various public and private colleges and universities in Taiwan (including religious training colleges).
(2) Those who have Taiwanese aboriginal ethnic consciousness and practical ability.
(3) The average academic performance is 80 points (inclusive) or above.
3. Amount of scholarship: two, NT$30,000 each.
4. Application documents:
(1) A copy of autobiography (within 1,000 words).
(2) Certificate of enrollment and a copy of the transcript of the previous school year with the school’s certification stamp.
(3) Ethnicity certification documents.
(4) Proof that is conducive to review (such as: practice, writing, creation or recommendation with the subject consciousness of indigenous peoples, etc.).
5. After the application documents are complete and attached with the contact number and e-mail address, send them to the "International Affairs Center for Aboriginal Peoples, College of Aboriginal Peoples, National Donghua University, No. 1, Section 2, Daxue Road, Shoufeng Township, 974 Hualien County" within the deadline (with postmark proof). The recipient should be marked as "Dr. Lin Youxin Memorial Scholarship Review Committee."
6. Review and Award Receipt:
(1) After the scholarship review committee conducts review and evaluation, in principle, the list of winners will be announced at the end of September.
(2) After the evaluation of the winners, in addition to notifying each winner, the school to which each winner belongs will also be notified by letter to hold a public award ceremony.
(3) The winners will have priority to participate in various international affairs exchange activities and subsidies handled by the "International Affairs Center for Aboriginal Peoples, College of Aboriginal Peoples, National Dong Hwa University".
(4) All applications will not be returned, and non-winners will not be notified.
7. Other matters needing attention:
(1) This scholarship is donated every year by the family and friends of Dr. Lin Youxin, and is entrusted to the "Taiwan Original Mengma Balu Association" and the "International Affairs Center for Aboriginal Peoples, College of Aboriginal Ethnic Studies, National Dong Hwa University" to handle and select.
(2) If there are no qualified winners in that year, the vacancy will be filled and the scholarship will be transferred to the "International Affairs Center for Indigenous Peoples, College of Indigenous Peoples and Ethnicities, National Dong Hwa University" to handle business related to international affairs for indigenous peoples.
(3) If there are any unfinished matters in these regulations, they may be revised by the "Taiwan Original Mengma Balu Association" and the "International Affairs Center for Aboriginal Peoples, College of Aboriginal Ethnic Studies, National Dong Hwa University".
