The competition encourages students to focus on global social issues, to create creative ideas, to combine diverse resources and cross-cutting thinking, to develop writing and thinking skills, and to develop the ability to identify problems, solve problems and anticipate problems through education that will continue to inform and expand the impact of education on society.
